Turaga, MD, MPH and SSO Sarcoma Disease Site Work Group Vice Chair, Aimee M. Crago, MD, PhD. Dr. Turaga is the Vice Chief, Section of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology (Strategy and Finance), Director, Surgical GI Cancer Program, Director, Regional Therapeutics Program at the University of Chicago Medicine, Chicago, IL. Dr. Crago is a Surgical Oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY.

The following podcast features a conversation with individuals who are experts within their respective fields and are members of the Society’s Disease Site Work Groups. SSO supports the need for treatment decisions to be made on a case-by-case basis. The surgeon’s knowledge and understanding of the biology of sarcoma and PSM cancer, alternative treatment options, and the institution’s policies at the time the patient will be scheduled for surgery all need to be taken into consideration.
