Virtual Tumor Board: Management of Pulmonary Metastatic Disease
Activity Description/ Purpose

Join the Sarcoma Disease Site Work Group for an in-depth discussion on managing pulmonary metastases in soft tissue sarcoma. This session will explore strategies for addressing both synchronous and metachronous lung metastases. Participants will also learn about the different treatment modalities available for sarcoma lung metastases, including radiation, surgery, and chemotherapy.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for all surgeons and other health care professionals who are involved in the treatment of patients with sarcomas.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Approach the management of synchronous limited lung mets
  • Approach the management of metachronous solitary lung mets
  • Explain the different modalities available to treat sarcoma lung mets (radiation, surgery, chemotherapy)
