Activity Overview
In this tumor board, participants will learn through case-based discussions about:

  1. Recognizing the potential role of chemotherapy in the multimodality management of STS patients
  2. Differentiating the pros and cons of neoadjuvant versus postoperative chemotherapy in the treatment of a primary STS
  3. Identifying potential candidates for chemotherapy based upon level of metastatic risk, age, and comorbidities.
  4. Summarizing common chemotherapy regimens used for STS neoadjuvant/adjuvant therapy (drugs, number of cycles)
  5. Distinguishing variables (disease biology, patient factors) that determine the potential role of chemotherapy in the management of oligometastatic disease
