Activity Description/ Purpose
The use of HIPEC has an increasing role in the management of complex peritoneal malignancies. Implementation of a HIPEC program has numerous challenges. Providing a basic framework for program development will contribute to better standardization of care.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for all surgeons and other health care professionals who are involved in the treatment of patients with peritoneal surface malignancies.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize critical intraoperative considerations and steps for optimal debulking
  • Identify key anesthetic considerations for PSM patients
