This event was held on Tuesday, January 24 at 7:00PM (CET) -- 12:00PM (CST).Join representatives from the Society of Surgical Oncology and the European Society of Surgical Oncology for a case-based discussion on the management of peritoneal metastasized ovarian cancer. Two cases will be presented which will highlight the differences and perhaps similarities of management of this disease. Please attend for what we hope will be a lively discussion between experts of the two sponsoring organizations.
After this virtual tumor board, the participants will be able to:
- Discuss indications and options for neoadjuvant, adjuvant, and maintenance treatments for ovarian cancer.
- Discuss indications for surgery, including timing of upfront, interval, and consolidation debulking, and role of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy.
